Position Description This is a front-facing role responsible for receiving walk-in workers and visitors, answering general queries, conducting candidate interviews (including scanning of primary documents), performing initial screening, and supporting basic worker communications. The role requires a friendly, professional manner, reliability, and the ability to manage a steady flow of people while maintaining confidentiality.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (30-minute unpaid lunch, rotated).
Essential Selection Criteria
- Friendly, patient and professional manner
- Clear spoken English and Bislama
- Ability to manage walk-ins calmly and efficiently
- Basic computer and scanning skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to handle personal and confidential information appropriately
- Genuine interest in serving workers and supporting the recruitment process
Desirable Selection Criteria
- Previous experience in customer service, reception or interviewing
- Valid driver’s licence (useful for occasional office errands)
- Good personal presentation
- Ability to work professionally and neutrally in a politically sensitive environment
Work experience Previous experience in customer service, reception, interviewing or a public-facing role is an advantage.

Position Description This role focuses on accurate data entry, document management and compliance readiness. The successful applicant will enter and update worker records, scan and file documents, maintain the In-Country Recruitment Database (IRD), track medicals and visa-related documents, and ensure all files are properly prepared so visa applications can be processed efficiently. The role requires a high level of accuracy, trustworthiness and discretion.

Position Description The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the Empower SWR office. The role involves coordinating workflow, maintaining accuracy of the In-Country Recruitment Database (IRD), supporting payroll processes, quality-checking team work, handling escalations, and ensuring operational readiness for worker mobilisation. The position reports to the General Manager and plays a key role in keeping the office organised, compliant and professional.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (30-minute unpaid lunch, rotated so the office remains open).
Essential Selection Criteria
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, punctual and able to work with minimal supervision
- Competent computer skills (email, spreadsheets, online systems)
- Ability to remain calm and effective during busy periods
- Good written and spoken English and Bislama
- Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Genuine interest in the role and in supporting ethical labour mobility work

The location allows us to better meet the needs of our customers and also includes a conference room dedicated to Pre Departure Briefings and a space for visiting employers to use for recruitment. We are excited by this new ee place for PALM and RSE employers to meet and interview workers. Second floor in the building behind Care Care Home.
